5 Ways To Indulge, Unwind, & Chill Out

5 Ways To Indulge, Unwind, & Chill Out

1) Beat the Heat @ Splash-N-Surf

Free for all, the colourful water play area with a kids pool is the place for water babies to have a splashing good time.

But if an adrenaline rush is what you seek, go ride a wave at half-pipe surfing facility Stingray® (from $30/hour)! And to unwind afterwards, bob down Lazy River in a rubber float for $2 per entry.

2) Rent A Boat @ Water Sports Centre

Fancy some fun on the water? Rent a canoe, kayak or pedal boat! A 500m Regatta course mapped out on the waters of the Kallang Basin offers a fun challenge: just split the family into teams
and start racing!

Water sports programmes and courses – such as Kayak 1 Star/ 2 Star Personal Skill Awards, Kayak and Dragon Boat Orientation Programmes — are also conducted on some weekends.

3) Relive The Old Days @ Singapore Sports Museum

How well do you know your Singapore sports history? Find out all about our nation’s sporting journey through the decades at this museum. To engage the young ones, there are also activity workshops for children every last Saturday of the month.

From now until 30 June 2018, the Games of Yesteryear exhibition also offers a glimpse of the traditional games and sports commonly played in Southeast Asia — a reminder of the simple joys of life.

4) Sports Immersion @ Sports Hub Library

This library is a treasure trove of resources related to active living. Your experience goes beyond books: video viewing stations, giant chess and checkers, as well as video game stations lend an interactive dimension to your visit. There are also myriad activities such as storytelling sessions, yoga classes, movie screenings and craft activities. Membership is free for Singaporeans and PRs.

5) Groove To The Beat Of Fun @ OCBC Arena

Dancing isn’t just a pastime – it is also great workout for all age groups. The Sports Hub Gym at level 2 of the OCBC Arena offers Kids Dance Classes where kids as young as two can develop their motor skills and build strength through grooving to music.

Older children can also take part in the jazz- or Bollywood-inspired courses. While the courses are generally 8 sessions long, you can drop in for single sessions too.
