Many of us make excuses for ourselves when we neglect exercise, even though regular exercise is the cornerstone of our physical fitness and mental wellbeing. Studies prove that activating various muscle groups and raising our heart rates can improve our mood and creativity.
Furthermore, did you know that exercising safely minimises one’s chances of injury and developing chronic ailments? All the more reason for us to schedule regular sweat sessions rather than preoccupy ourselves with sedentary tasks.
The 7×7 workouts can be done anywhere and are suitable for participants of all fitness levels.

Work out anywhere
If you feel inspired to get moving, the good news is, all you need is a small space that is stable and even. You won’t need to carve much time out of your daily schedule – just a few minutes will suffice, and we’ll supply the instructional workouts.
We’d like to introduce Singapore Sports Hub’s #7x7workouts, which you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home or at a communal sporting venue together with your friends. You won’t need any equipment except comfortable workout attire.
Before starting, have you conducted your own PAR-Q test? If you have any queries, don’t hesitate to consult a doctor. Also, remember to stretch and warm up adequately before beginning any workout!

These static workouts are easy and a great way to introduce beginners to the joys of exercise. As participants get better at these exercises and become fitter, they can modify each movement to increase its difficulty. For example, you can add push-ups or mountain climbers to a burpee, or add jumps and overhead claps to lunges.

If it helps, double up your fitness routine and join us onsite at the actual 7×7 workout! Slots are released for booking every two weeks, which you can book via the ELXR app.
Members of the public can also book Singapore Sports Hub’s various venues, which are conducive for all kinds of group workouts and programmes.
You can keep yourself accountable to your objectives by buddying up with a friend or family member. Even if your buddy has different fitness goals from you, you both can enjoy your fitness journey and reap its rewards together.
