Twenty years after redefining the Mandopop concert landscape, David Tao’s legendary Soul Power returns with renewed force. As the first solo concert of his career, the original Soul Power Tour left an unforgettable mark on fans across generations. Audiences who witnessed the historic performances—or relived them through live albums and concert films—continue to celebrate it as a milestone in Mandopop concert history. Eschewing flashy costumes and elaborate visual effects, the show was anchored entirely in the profound roots of soul music and the raw emotional resonance of live performance.

In 2024, David Tao officially relaunched the Soul Power II World Tour, bringing the deep musical energy of “Soul Power” back to fans worldwide.

Launched in Wuhan in March 2024, Soul Power II quickly became one of the year’s most critically acclaimed concert tours. Tickets sold out rapidly across every city, and exceptional reviews spread through social media and press channels. Covering 18 cities and 38 performances from spring through winter, the tour concluded 2024 with a near-perfect record and widespread acclaim.

2025 Ushers in a Bold New Chapter — Stadium Expansion, Larger Production, and New Interactive Segments
Entering 2025, Soul Power II stepped into an ambitious new chapter. David Tao announced the tour’s upgrade to outdoor stadiums—marking a significant expansion in production scale, visual impact, and audience capacity. The enhanced stage design, featuring an extended platform, bringing him even closer to fans for an immersive live experience.

To date, the stadium edition has completed 27 shows across Asia, Australia, and now North America. The world tour also introduces exciting new audience-interaction segments, including off-stage interaction and a song request session, deepening his real-time engagement with fans.

A Cross-Generational Dream Team — World-Class Musicians Power the Soul
Reflecting a new era and audience, Soul Power II features a lineup of world-class musicians and next-generation talents. The tour’s Music Director is Fergus Chow, the acclaimed producer, songwriter, and arranger known for his work with Khalil Fong, A-Lin, and Tia Ray.   • Full printed or electronic tickets must be presented for admission to the show/venue.
  • There will be security checks at designated security check points, so patrons are advised to arrive early.
  • The following will not be allowed into the venue:
    • Outside food and drinks 
    • Bags exceeding 35cm x 20cm x 30cm (i.e. too large to be stored under a seat)
    • Noise makers including but not limited to air horn, whistle, etc.
    • Flags, placards, banners with offensive slogans, political messages or advertisement
    • Fan boards sized bigger than 29.7cm x 43cm (A3)
    • Non-collapsible umbrellas
    • Chairs and stools
    • Laptops, iPads and Tablets
    • Gifts and flowers
  • Patrons with prohibited items such as vapes and camera will be denied entry.
  • Food & beverages are available for sale inside the venue.
  • Water bottles (excluding glass bottles) are allowed and must be emptied before entering the venue.
  • Patrons may deposit their items at the deposit counter for a non-refundable fee of S$10 per item. Please note that starting 1 July 2024, we will only accept VISA, Mastercard and PAYNOW as payment methods. Cash payments will not be accepted and payment via AMEX and NETS is not available.
