Welcome to the Kallang Story

Come and join in on a walking trail that explores the rich history of Kallang and the sporting achievements, the art, and the architecture that’s made this place a significant part of Singapore's history and a treasure trove of stories.

The trail walk is 3km and approximately 4000 steps – a perfect way to get some exercise while being able to spot artworks commissioned to celebrate Kallang’s heritage and local talents, such as 14 uniquely designed repurposed benches made from timber seats of the Old National Stadium.

Explore one of three trails, each exploring prominent landmarks in the area, both past and present:

The Waterfront Trail faces the Kallang Basin, a body of water with a rich history going back at least 400 years and reveals the riverine communities who once called this area home and the legacy of water sports.

The Stadium Trail explores the grounds of the National Stadium and covers major architectural icons which have played key roles in sports, politics, energy, aviation and entertainment in Singapore.

The Park Trail ventures into the former grounds of Kallang Park and journeys through memories of the old Wonderland Amusement Park and ends in front of the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Happy Walking!
