PLANNING A TRIP TO THE KALLANG FOR AN EVENT?

To avoid possible traffic congestion & delays in carpark entry, opt to travel by public bus or MRT. We recommend bringing a small collapsible umbrella or poncho due to rainy weather. As huge crowds are expected at major events, do arrive early — around 60 to 90 minutes before event time.

SINGAPORE, 2 JULY 2025 – Looking to add some sporting fun to your September? Join us on 27 September for the inaugural Kallang Run, an inclusive running event for everyone – from seasoned runners to casual joggers or anyone new to running, it is the perfect way to get moving with your family and friends. This annual, non-competitive community run is organised by Kallang Alive Sport Management (KASM), with AirAsia – Skytrax’s World’s Best Low-Cost Airline for 16 consecutive years – proudly on board as the title sponsor for the first edition.

The AirAsia Kallang Run offers two exciting non-competitive categories – 5km and 10km – that is open to participants of all fitness levels, including families with young children. The run will be flagged off from Stadium Riverside Walk at the Singapore Sports Hub, and the route will take runners along the Kallang Basin, past lush greenery and iconic landmarks of the Singapore Sports Hub. Beyond the run, participants can look forward to exciting aviation-themed carnival games – a nod to the former Kallang Airport that once occupied the land Singapore Sports Hub sits on today.
